…fat at rest We see that carbohydrates are the main fuels that the body is burning during rest for both subjects, providing 70.8% for the male, and 60.8% for the female. In conclusion, we calculated the VO2 using units of ml/min/kg to find the relationship between VO2 and body size. We find that VO2 is more precisely related to the subject's lean body mass. Subject 1, the male, has a higher VO2 than subject 2, the female.
