Wal-Mart - Are "Sweat Shops" Hurting or Harming Third World Countries?

Sam Walton founded Wal-Mart in 1962; the first store was opened in Rogers, Ark. Since 1962 Wal-Mart has grown to be the worlds largest retailer more than 3,200 facilities in the United States and over 1,100 in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, China, Korea, Germany, and the United Kingdom. …small as they may be they are still changes in the right direction. I think that given time, and not a long period of time, sweatshops may become a thing of the past. The hardest places to make a change may be in places such as Myanmar whose government is know to be a horrible military dictatorship, but nothing Wal-Mart is able to do is going to change the fate of people of that country.
