It is sad to think that most people today are to caught up with being "successful" that they stop searching for a purpose in life aside from themselves. Gilgamesh was a hero because he saw the flaws in his ways and decided to eliminate those flaws. If each individual would attempt do what Gilgamesh did inside himself than there might be hope left in the world.
