…News programs allow us to see what is going on in the world around us from the comfort of our living rooms, this is especially important for people living far away from any sort of civilization and illiterate people who can't just read the newspapers to find out. Of course they can always find this sort of thing on the radio, and like I said before the television presents information in a more entertaining manner.
