Richard Kuklinski Gary Smith helped Kuklinski steal cars and resell them. There was a warrant out for Smith's arrest because of stealing and cashing checks. On may 25 1988 they found Kuklinski guilty. He did not get the death penalty b/c of the absence of eyewitness testimony. Kuklinski got 2 life sentences. He was taken to trentan state prison in New Jersey, the same prison where his brother is serving life.
