No man is an island, I am an island
John Donne says that no man is an island. Paul Simon says that man can be islands and he is an island. These two men have two different philosophies on life. John Donne believes that every man is part of somebody or something, and on the other hand Paul Simon believes that if you wish to be alone you can then be an island. Who's right,

to the conclusion that Paul Simon doesn't know what he is talking about and sang that song for some publicity, I'm not sure but it seems like it. I know agree with John Donne 99%, why not a hundred , because I don't like the way he writes but other than that John is right. "No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main"(Donne).
