…in strengthening my children's self-esteem by treating them respectfully, taking their views and opinions seriously, and expressing appreciation to them. I can help my children develop and maintain a healthy self-esteem. During times of disappointment or crisis, my children's weakened self-esteem can be strengthened when I let them know that my love and support remain unchanged. I hope that they can give the love and respect to one another, as I have given to them.
