Diversity is defined as the condition of being diverse. In other words, diversity is the condition of being different from one another. In the classroom there are all kinds of diversity from race and sex to religion and culture. Not only is this diversity seen with the students but also with the teacher as well. It is up to the teachers to really capitalize on the differences of their students and bring out the best opportunities to showcase those differences to allow their students a better understand and a chance to really learn first hand about these differences. Because diversity is something that we deal with everyday teaching students in the classroom how to accept it will benefit them greatly as they go through life.
